Tournament format |
|
Qualification: Series of 6 games Re-entry: Series of 6 games Qualification General Standing Highest 20 men scores and 5 women scores directly access the General Standing. Early Bird Qualification Highest 6 series of men bowlers and 2 scores of women bowlers up to Thursday July 03rd, 2025, not qualified in the Qualification General Standing, access the General Standing respectively in position 21-26 for men Step 1 and 6-7 for the women final. |
Scratch Series:
Best 4 scratch series of men bowlers and best 2 series of women bowlers who are not qualified in the General Standing and in the Early Bird Qualification, also qualify for the finals.
The qualified players access the General Standing respectively in position 27-30 for men Step 1 and 8-9 for the women final.
Turbo Qualification
Best 2 series of male bowlers and 1 series of female bowlers signed up in Turbo competition who are not qualified in the Qualification General Standing, in the Early Bird Qualification and in the Scratch series, will access the General Standing respectively in position 31-32 for men Step 1 and 10-11 for women final.
Turbo fees must be paid prior to the start of the squad.
Desperado Squad
Best 2 series of male bowlers and 1 series of female bowlers not qualified in the above Qualifications chances who signed up in Desperado squad, will access the General Standing respectively in position 33-34 for men Step 1 and 12 for women final.
Desperado Squad will be played on single lanes.
A tie influencing who will qualify by the Desperado squad will be broken by playing a 9th and 10th frame roll off, repeated until the tie is broken.

Finals – Step 1(M)
24 players ranked 11 to 34 of the General Standing will play a 4 games series, moving 4 lanes right after each game.
Top 10 players will qualify for the final Step 2(M), ranked 11 to 20 of the general standing. Players not continuing will be ranked 21-34 according to their scores in the final Step 1(M).
Finals – Step 2(M)
Players ranked 5 to 20 of the General Standing, will play a 4 games series, moving 4 lanes right after each game.
Top 8 players will qualify for the final Step 3(M), ranked 5 to 12 of the General Standing. Players not continuing will be ranked 13-20 according to their scores in the final Step 2(M).
Finals – Step 3(W)
The 12 qualified women will be divided in two groups, A (1-3-5-7-9-11) and B (2-4-6-8-10- 12), each playing 5 games Round Robin - bonus 20 pins for the winner, 10 pins each player in case of a tie.
The top 2 players of each group will be qualified for the final Step 4.
Players ranked 3 to 6 of each group will be ranked 5 to 12 of the General Standing according to Step 3(F) total pinfall + handicap.
Finals – Step 3(M)
Players ranked 1 to 12 of the General Standing will be divided in two groups, A (1-3-5-7-9- 11) and B (2-4-6-8-10-12) each playing 5 games Round Robin - bonus 20 pins for the winner, 10 pins each player in case of a tie.
The top 2 players of each group will be qualified for the final Step 4.
Players ranked 3 to 6 of each group will be ranked 5 to 12 of the General Standing according to Step 3(M) total pinfall + handicap.
Finals –Step 4 – Match play Semifinals
Players ranked 2nd in each group will bowl a 1 game match play round Vs. player ranked 1st in the other group.
Men will play on lanes 3-4. Women will play on lanes 9-10. (Courtesy lanes: 15-16)
These matches will be played match play style play.
Players seeded 2nd in their group bowls 1 frame on the left lane, players seeded 1st in the other group bowls 2 frames on the right lane, each player will continue to bowl 2 frames.
Match 1: A2 Vs. B1 Match 2: B2 Vs. A1
Winners scores in Step 4 will rank the bowlers higher and lower for the Steps 5.
Loser’s scores will rank the bowlers higher and lower for 3rd and 4th place of the general standing.
Final – Step 5 – Tournament match
The winners of Step 4 will bowl the 1 game Tournament match.
Player lower seeded bowls 1 frame on the left lane, player higher seeded bowls 2 frames on the right lane, each player will continue to bowl 2 frames.
Men will play on lanes 3-4. Women will play on lanes 9-10.

Tournament tie rules |
|
Unless not stated differently in the above rules, in case of a tie, the winner is the men or woman with the highest scratch score MAX 300. In case of a persisting tie in qualification round, the last game score of the series will count, then the 5th game etc. In case of persisting tie in final rounds, the winner will be determined by a one ball roll-off in which the higher seeded will pick the bowling order and lane. If necessary, shots are repeated in the same order, same lane, until the tie is broken. In case of a persisting tie on TURBO qualification game, precedence is given to the player who scored the game earlier, counting the squad and the series game number. In case of a tie involving same squad, same series game, the highest qualification series will count and the general rule will apply. |
